Celebrating Thanksgiving in Elmhurst and the surrounding area is about more than good food, football, and family. The annual Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot gives Elmhurst residents and visitors the opportunity to help DuPage County's hungry families.
Over the past 43 years, this 5K (3.1 mile) fun run has raised nearly $5 million for local charities including the Elmhurst-Yorkfield Food Pantry, Catholic Charities, and DuPage PADS. Keep the momentum going and be a part of this important fundraiser!
Whether you want to run, volunteer, donate, or support the runners, making the Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot a part of your Thanksgiving tradition is a great way to show your gratitude this Thanksgiving while helping those in Elmhurst and surrounding communities.
